Born and Raised in Clinton Hll/Bed Stuy to an African-American Mother from Brooklyn, and a Sudanese father originally from Omdurman, Sudan. Anayshah’s work is not fueled by her alone. Rather it is sequential to a quest of generations pass and time. Each swoosh of the paint brush is a layer to existence and inner observation to how we perceive the universe.Anayshah also goes by Nayuhtree; Nayuhtree Art, she combines in her paintings and what may be perceived by some as abstract elements with more naturalistic elements of portraiture, creating a juxtaposition, while emphasizing the perceived juxtapositions of the universe.
